Monday Motivation: Be the Change

When we pay closer attention to our environment and to all that happens in our relationships, we recognize that we actually have very little (if any) control over anyone or anything else, but ourselves.

This being the case, how do we, then, create change in our environment and our personal or professional relationships?


The simple, yet profound answer, is: by BEING the change of that which we wish to see.

If we want to be respected in our lives, we must BE respect.  This means that we have to respect ourselves first, and be respectful of our environment and of those around us.
